[comp.sys.ibm.pc] nonlinear fitting

Does anyone know of any pc nonlinear fitting programs?  Something
that will take advantage of a math coprocessor?  I've heard of a
public domain program called FIT, but have been unable to locate
a copy.  Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.  Mainframe
time is starting to cost me big bucks (SAS NLIN).  Well, I should
say costing the lab I work for.
