I am trying to adapt an Adaptec 2070A RLL HD controller to work with MINIX. I would like to information about the controller's register address map & the return codes. With this info, I can modify the WD HD controller provided with the MINIX source. If I can obtain a tech sheet on this controller, please provide an address. I got it to work by applying the Zenith xt_wini.c mods posted ages ago and changing the constant that refers to the number of sectors per track from 17 to 25 in xt_wini.c and in the standalone fsck. I suspect the Zenith mods were unnecessary, as the 2070A is not a Zenith product, but I'm not going to change it if it works!
