[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Random Number Generator in C

    I need a random number generator for uniform distributions
    and normal distributions. The generator in Microsoft C produces
    lumpy distributions.  It goes without saying that I need them
    written in C for the IBM PC.  Anybody out there have what I
    need or the ability to point me in the right direction?  Help
    is appreciated.
