Does anybody out there know whether or not TeX has been implemented on IBM PC [Clones]? I have a need to typeset some pretty heavy mathematics and I have heard that TeX excels at this. Also, if TeX is indeed floating around somewhere, does this hypothetical package talk to HP Laserjet Series II printers? A million thanks for any information one can provide! I don't know if the TeX provided by these companies are differentfrom each other , though I suspect Personal TeX has a better product (and support). You can also get DVI to postscript drivers for the PC from Personal TeX, which means all you need is a postscript printer and you should be all set. I would be interested in hearing about anyone elses experience with TeX on PC's. Shidan Tavana Dept. of Pathology Montefiore Medical Center 111 E. 210 St. Bronx, N.Y. 10467 tavana@nyu-acf8.arpa
