Philip Schneider complained about the "complicated problem" posting, saying it had been asked before and was a was of net time and money. Maybe I'm out of step with the times, but I thought the reason for the existence of Usenet was for asking questions and sharing knowledge. So what if the question was asked before! Maybe the asker is new to the newsgroup. Maybe the asker missed the question the first time(s) around. At the very least, you'll have only had to read the question and can ignore all the answers. In my opinion (with implied disclaimers, of course) complaints about repeated questions is more of a waste than the questions themselves. This leads one to the obvious conclusion that complaints about complaints are even a worse waste :-)! Jim Taylor Microcomputer Support for Curriculum, Brigham Young University taylorj@byuvax.bitnet
