What is the difference/similarity with v20 and 8087 chips? Someone made a mention a few articles back that windows ran faster with the v20. Someone made a mention a few articles back The V20 is a replacement for the 8088 chip. It's a CPU, and highly compatible with the 8088. The 8087 is a math coprocessor, which does 32 bit integer and 32 or 64 bit float arithmetic. -- bill davidsen (wedu@ge-crd.arpa) {uunet | philabs | seismo}!steinmetz!crdos1!davidsen "Stupidity, like virtue, is its own reward" -me
