I have received a lot of replies to my earlier posting. I believe thast I need to clarify what I need to do. I have some compressed files on UNIX. They are to big for me to uncompress within my account. They were compressed using the normal compress <filename> command on UNIX. I now have transfered them to a PC. I have enough room to uncompress them, however, i can not because of the UNIX compress format. I believe thay were compressed using a 16 bit algorithm. It is a must to uncompress these files. memory is not a problem. I have over 5 megs at my disposal. Thank you as always in advanced. If this has not cleared anything up let me know. ===================================== ^ ================================= Edward L. Haletky |E |o| U| "To race against the sky..."
