A friend of mine is considering purchasing the Leading Edge Model D with "infinite memory" (i.e. removable hard disks) and has a couple of questions. 1) How reliable are the cartridges? I've used the Bernoulli box a lot and never had trouble but I've heard of problems with other removable hard disk systems - particularly problems with the drives heating up (not enough to burn your hand.) 2) Is it reasonable/feasible to set up one hard disk with DOS and one with XENIX? 3) I've heard reports of compatibilty problems with Leading Edge machines but not specific details. My friend's primary interest is graphics so he would be particularly interested in incompatibility problems there.
