[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Needed: HP LaserJet font editor

jfadams@tc.fluke.COM (Jim Adams) (03/05/88)

I'm working on a few documents that require special character sets. I need to
locate an HP LaserJet font editor to alter existing and create new fonts to be
used in Ventura Publisher. From there, I can create the necessary font-metric
files and width tables. I have access to EGA, VGA, and Hercules equipped PCs,
so I will take anything that works.

I bought the Glyphix fonts software and am quite happy with it. It's not
a font editor, but it does allow you to create 4 basic styles in an infinite
range of size, thicknesses and widths.

I guess it's quite similar to the stuff bitstream is selling now.
