...this is a repeat of a plea for help, and an addition of a potential new topic: ...First, the cry for help. I'm trying to locate a certain company, name unknown, that specialize(s/d) in producing player and map editors for the Ultima Series of games from Origin Systems. What I'm looking for specifically are any editors that were made for the IBM versions, and there was this one company whose name has been lost to memory and lots of alcohol. ...the other concerns this new BBS program that's been running amok of late called Quick BBS. It's supposedly OPUS/Fido compatable, and uses a menu structure similar to that used by ISPF. What I'm wondering was if any of you Opus users had switched over to Quick in other parts of the country, because that's become the case here in CenTex. ...I took a look at it, but since there's no source code available, I sort of did a filewipe after glancing through the manual. The notion of a sysop-controllable ISPF-type menu control language dod look rather interesting, but not enough to override the lack of source. ...anyway, if you can help on the first one (Thanks to James V.A. for his efforts, as well as Max at Origin, who sitll owes me money...), it's extrememly appreciated. ANd any comments on the second will also be welcome!! OM ...gee, maybe I should have asked for the Norton-style Hex Editor for the P-System so I can wreak all sorts of havok on Wizardry, but if I were to admit that I owned the P-System then.... ...ooops....
