I'm interested in beta testing your VT100 terminal emulator. My firm is on contract to the DoD to support several thousand users of a broadband network that includes a unix-based office automation system, a VAX VMS system, and two IBM mainframes using 7171 front ends -- all offering the ability to use VT100 terminals. Customer equipment includes Z-248, Wyse, Wang, IBM 3270 AT/G, GRiD, etc. I have 4 user-support analysts who need something challenging & stimulating to do between calls from distraught users. They are highly experienced in MS-DOS, unix, micro-to-mainframe communications and -- especially -- user support. I promise that we can give your software a workout, and I'll also furnish you with a written evaluation. Of course, we'd also be interested in testing any PC software, but our official responsibilities don't extend beyond the recommendation of software to support systems on the broadband LAN. If any software does prove to be of use to our customers, we will recommend it to them (both individuals using their computers at home and Army Staff agencies). So what do you say? Are you ready to rise to the challenge? We've already blown up ProComm and the first versions of Enable & Z-Stem. If you think that your VT100 emulator is up to the challenge, send me a note. -- Jay Heiser UUCP: ..!umd5!vrdxhq!ms3!msicv01 ARPA: msicv01@hios-pent.arpa
