[comp.sys.ibm.pc] vt series terminal emulation

crouch@btnix.UUCP (Chris Rouch) (03/22/88)

I'm trying to find a terminal emulator (preferably for a VT240, although VT100
will do) that can do the following:

1) map the numeric keypad correctly so that these keys may be programmed
under VMS.

2) save the last few pages shown on the screen into memory, so that they
can be redisplayed easily.

If anyone knows any emulator which will do both the above, please email me at
the address below.

I'm currently using KERMIT (v2.29), which does the latter, but not the former.
I've tried to use the SET KEY command to load the correct escape sequence into
the numeric keys, but with no success. If anybody could tell me how to do this
(in mskermit.ini) that would be even better.
