The new version of Quarterdeck's Deskview will be out around June this year; the 386 version was a sort of a hit at the recent Fose show in Washington D.C., running several copies of DOS on a 16 mh 386 machine reasonably quickly. One of their brochures states: The DESQview 2.0 API is an object-oriented interface. The data structures DESQview uses to represent windows, mailboxes etc. are called objects. A call to the API involves sending a message to an object, indicating which of several operations you want performed on that data structure............ I would almost be willing to bet that this product was done in C++, since I can't quite picture it being done in Digitalk's SmalltalkV, and I don't really know of any other possabilities. Anybody know for sure?? Ted Holden HTE
