I recently downloaded the GIF picture reader, and the two pictures that were posted. I really enjoy the program, but I have one problem with it. Right now I only have two pictures! Are there any good sources out there for GIF pictures? Or for that matter, would anyone be willing to either mail some to me or post them? -Thanks -- - Dan Rich UUCP: ...!osu-cis!bgsuvax!drich CSNET: drich@andy.bgsu.edu PHONE: (419) 372-6002 - Sometimes a majority simply means that all the fools are on the same side -

There are close to 1000 different GIF files on the PICTURES forum on Compuserve. Some of them are large files that do not compress with ARC very well. There are also alot of GIF files there that were submitted by Amiga and Atari users that do not decode too well on a CGA or EGA monitor. There are also alot of GIF files that do look very good on an EGA monitor. I have personally downloaded approximately 200 GIF files from Compuserve and I would say that about 70% look good on my EGA monitor. -- Bill Gaines | UUCP: ...!gatech!ncrats!iccdev!bill Industrial Computer Coporation | Compuserve: 76317,770 Atlanta, Georgia 30328 | (404) 255-8336 | emanon
