This is a problem with ddir, which was recently posted to
comp.binaries.ibm.pc -- I'm running DOS 2.11:
Output of the regular dir command:
Volume in drive D is HARD RAM

Control characters removed to protect your terminals -- suffice it
to say that the "Volume" header screwed up the first two lines of
real directory listing output royally. Does this thing work correctly
on later versions of DOS only?

I was the one that posted that little program. I did not write it though, so I don't know how it works. I've run it under 3.2 and 3.1 with no problems, but I have never tried it on 2.X. -- A computer program does what you tell it to do, | Derrick Hamner not what you want it to do. | adonis@tahoe.unr.edu
