Just installed a HardCard 20 w/286 upgrade rom into a DTK (Datatech) baby AT motherboard. All is fine with the exception that the internal hardware clock time (which continues to remain correct) will not transfer over to the DOS "TIME" function. Date works just fine. Thanks to another user on the net, I have found out that the Plus HardCard is the reason the time is being blocked and that I need a small program to transfer the time from the clock to the system, like the "COMPQCLK.COM" program that Plus provides for the Compaq computers. When I asked Plus how to obtain a utility for my computer, the tech said that the only supported IBM and Compaq users and that anyone with a clone is on their own. (Possibly a reason to not buy a Plus HardCard, but that is not my opinion) Is there possibly a programmer out there who could alter the program for the Compaq to be used with my machine? I really need to get this working. I depend on the time and date functions in much of my software. Any help or suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated!
