Does anyone know where I can get a version of graphics.com that supports the EGA? The mode I am interested in getting printed is the 640 X 200 X 16 color mode. I find it incredible that IBM does not support their own graphics board in this way! Help! ---- JOHN DOWD john@mirror.TMC.COM {mit-eddie, ihnp4, harvard!wjh12, cca, cbosgd, seismo}!mirror!john Mirror Systems Cambridge, MA 02140

Is there really nothing out there? Or am I the only one who has this problem? Comments? ---- JOHN DOWD john@mirror.TMC.COM {mit-eddie, ihnp4, harvard!wjh12, cca, cbosgd, seismo}!mirror!john Mirror Systems Cambridge, MA 02140

john, you are not alone ... i have been unable to find a copy of GRAPHICS.COM that does what I expect with my EGA and my printer. in fact, the only help i have received was some pointers to some commercial software; so, i am in the process of doing it myself. will post if/when i get it all working reasonably.

There are several version of EGAPRT in the source library in CCUC at UMCVMB. Try to get a directory from CCUC, and you will know which file you will need. Also, there is a program in PC magazine which also do a PRTSC but it is written in BASIC. I hope you can connect to CCUC. Larry Siu USDA HNRC Dicclaimer:This is nothing but my own idea.
