Whoa! Stop! Please don't send any more requests for the MacII ray tracer. I've been informed that 10 or 15 copies of a 200+ K file winging through email would displease more than a few people, therefore I've had to come up with another way to distribute it. According to Jerry Whitnell in comp.graphics it has been posted to the comp.binaries.mac group. Presumably it will show up there eventually. However, if you cannot wait then I am going to make the same offer that he made. Mail an self addressed stamped envelope (with sufficient postage for a disk) to John Munsch 3829 Lawndale Ave. Ft. Worth, TX 76133 Enclose a formatted disk (Single Sided 400k) for the Mac and I'll send you a .SIT file with DBW Render for the MacII on it. Alternatively you can send me a MSDOS format disk (3 1/2 inch DOS 3.2) and I'll send you the source for DBW which you can try and modify to be usable on your system (I ran a quick compile on it with MSC 5.0 and although it compiled it didn't work). Please don't go for the second option unless you are serious about converting it to another system and you have some hardware that could actually display the pictures (like VGA). I'm not a disk service and there are only so many hours in a day... I also hope to make it available via anonymous uucp sometime soon.
