[comp.sys.ibm.pc] GATT declares U.S. - Japan chip

If consumer electronics cost more in Japan than it does here, why is there
a thriving gray market?  Most of the gray market merchandise is bought off
the shelf in Japan, and carried back to the U.S. for resale.
