Anybody bother getting sidekick plus yet? What's plus about it? And why do they want 199.00 for it? -Brett --- Brett G. Person North Dakota State University

Person >North Dakota State University >---------- SK+ is a completely re-written product (no lines in common with the old SK) that only uses the SK name for marketting purposes. I find it to be a really impressive product that allows me to do lots of stuff that I've wanted to do but wasn't able to. The thing I like best is the ability to have access to a file manipulation utility (view directory, view files, edit files, delete files, copy files, etc.) available as a TSR. SK+ also has extended notepad capability (several notefiles can be open at once), an enhanced time manager that lets you not only keep track of appointments but has a pop-up alarm as well, and a calculator that can be scientific, business, programmer (i.e., hex), or use formulas. There are some other features that slip my mind at the moment (I have it at home, but am typing this at work). This only catch is that there is some conflict with the Logitech Mouse. Current best theory (from BORAPP on CompuServe) is that the conflict is with the MENU software that comes with the mouse. John Hardin hardin%hpindda@hplabs.hp.com --------
