In a very short time, I have gotten several requests for TCP/IP for the PC. This indicates that the interest is large. I should clear up some points. 1. The package is far larger than I had thought, over a megabyte. I only use small parts of it. In its entirety, it is not suitable for mailing. It is questionably postable. I am now evaluating all of the parts so that I can represent it better. Until then, I will not post it. This should take a few days. Most people will not want all the components, which will make the most desired portions easier to distribute. 2. It is not public domain, but it is free and available for noncommercial use. This should not affect you unless you want to sell it or parts of it, but you should know it because it is copyrighted. 3. I am trying to respond individually to mail I have received. If you haven't heard from me yet, you probably will. 4. I would like a suggestion on how to avoid the postings of the nature "Please repost part 5" and "Part 3 got corrupted" and "please repost the whole thing" etc. 5. If you have internet ftp access, you can get the package now. Use anonymous ftp into louie.udel.edu (10.0.0.96) under the directory /pub/ka9q. 6. My offer will include using floppy disks. You must tell me which components you want. You MUST format the disks. If you don't, you will receive nothing from me in return. I mean this seriously. I don't mind doing the favor of distributing software but I strongly object to formatting disks. You will be hearing from me again soon. Thank you for your interest.
