We are looking for an external 5.25" drive that can be attached to the IBM PS/2 Models 30 or 50 without disabling the two drives on the 30 or the floppy/hard drive combination on the 50. The only one we found so far had the annoying characteristic if being a high-density drive. Since our purpose is to provide compatibility with existing 360 kb drives (and having the ability to reliably format at 360 kb) the one we found won't cut it. Has anyone out there found a solution to this problem? If so could you please send me email.
