Deal alert: I just bought an Thompson Ultrasync. So what you say? I got it from Computer Direct for $399. I was looking for a VGA-capable monitor, read the reviews, but was undecided about which monitor to get. Then I saw the Computer Direct add and figured it was a mistake, since other mail-order houses were asking from $450 to $530 for it. I called and they said it was for real, so I charged one (knowing the rights of a credit card user...) and it arrived a week later. Unfortunately, I only have a CGA at the moment (sort of like opening a bottle of beer with a bazooka), so I can't vouch for its VGA ability, but the documentation I've seen says it is. Now where are the results of that VGA card survey that someone started recently... No affiliation with with Computer Direct, of course. --Peter galvin-peter@cs.yale.edu
