I have never seen the subject of FCC Class B certification mentioned in any of the series of "What 386 should I buy" articles in this group. In the magazine reviews I've seen, the majority of 386 systems are listed as having Class A certification, or no certification at all; only a few systems, such as Dell's, are certified Class B for home, or non-industrial, use. Considering that add-on cards and devices are going to add to noise, it seems worthwhile to start at as low a level as possible. I'm looking for a 386 system for my home machine. I'd like to be kind to my neighbors, and not disrupt their TV reception. Am I being overly concerned about this, or are you guys in my neighborhood too carefree? -- Ralph Clark (clark@TTI.COM) Citicorp(+)TTI 3100 Ocean Park Blvd. (213) 452-9191, x2965 Santa Monica, CA 90405 {csun|philabs|psivax|trwrb}!ttidca!clark
