I have always heard that one would have problems transfering disks between 1.2meg and 360k disk drives too, but now that I do have a 1.2meg drive, I have not found this to be the case. I have a Teac drive, and I have never had a problem with 360k drives reading disks formated on the 1.2meg drive, or disks that were formated on a 360k drive and then had files written on to it by the 1.2meg.
