Sigh. If it ain't one thing, its another.
If anyone is using COBOL/2 with the Screen manager facilities, HELP!
What I *really* need is a way to stop the %^$! alarm from sounding on
EVERY field written to the screen! This is a bit annoying. Is there
a little known field set by the ADISCF utility to do this?
Speaking of such, is there a way to set up the COBOL environment to
use the environment I defined using ADISCF, instead of the IBM Ver
1.00 compatibility mode??
And how do you get the Function keys to respond? I've loaded the
(what I thought was) correct environment, and even made a couple of
calls to X'af' routine (it worked once...)
Any pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks a zillion (PIC 9(9) VALUE HIGH-VALUES.)
Please, no flames about using Cobol. I also have C/2 and Macro Assembler/2.
