I'm interested in voice recognition for the IBM PC.
. Under $500
. At least recognizes 500 words
. User dependant
. Reasonably fast
I'm also interested in a scheduling program for rooms / resources:
. Needs to be able to handle at least 50 rooms.
. Needs to have the ability to track the building, room number,
date the room is in use, time the room is in use, time the
room is NOT in use, who is using the room and miscellaneous
items like how many people the room will hold and equipment
in the room.
. Ideally, we would like to be able to ask questions like:
. What room on campus is free at 2:00 pm on 8/12/88 and
holds more than 30 people.
. When is room X in building Y free.
. What room in building Y is free on Monday, Wednesday,
Friday for the next 16 weeks (a semester) from 10:00 am
until 11:00 am.
. And other such questions.
I am willing to programming the application (suggestions on a
suitable database program?) but would preferred to have something pre-
programming.
Has anyone tackled either of these problems?
I will summarize.
