I have a 3com network of PCs and diskless WSs. I'd like to set up a multiuser BBS system for clients and employees, but I need to be sure that it is possible to use the system with the network (i.e. the bboard shouldn't barf because of interrupt conflicts or file locking problems, etc), and I need to be able to customize the user interface depending on who's calling. I posted a slightly vague explanation of what I needed to do, and I've gotten a few responses telling me to use 3+Remote and 3+Menu. Unfortunately, I've already tried this and it is *way* too slow for use by clients. What I'm looking at is a multi-port serial board (a la Galacticomm) and the BBS software they sell with it. All I really want is information, so I can buy smart. If you have personal experience, reviews of, or general information about running bboards on IBM systems (especially but not limited to multiuser, technical support bboards), or if you can even point me to someone who does, *please* let me know. Thanks much! Be seeing you... Lang Zerner langz@athena.mit.edu ihnp4!mit-eddie!athena.mit.edu!langz "Many a good hanging prevents a bad marriage..." -- Bill Shakespeare, Twelfth Night, I.v.19
