After poking around on SIMTEL20.ARPA, I found several morse code programs. Of the programs I have seen, MORSE24C.ARC is the clear winner for both learning code and increasing ones speed. It was apparently written in C and runs wonderfully. The ARC file contains full documentation, etc. I've only found one minor bug which does not effect the programs ability to send code. Learning code by computer is much easier than listening to the tapes for me. I had the tendancy to start memorizing the "random" sequences found on the tapes. Lots of good novice information is also available from SIMTEL20.ARPA. If anyone knows of any ham radio clubs in the Palo Alto, CA area, please drop me a mail message.
