---------- The recent flurry of messages dealing with ways to kludge up a touch utility implies that a lot of people don't have the real thing. For those who are interested, I've posted TOUCH.ARC to comp.binaries.ibm.pc. Here is the intoduction to the message: ---------- Enclosed is a uuencoded .ARC file containing an MS-DOS version of touch. This is not a plain vanilla version; it supports options to suppress autocreation of non-existing files (c), list the touched files to stdout (v), and to allow you to specify the date or time instead of using the current date or time. It accepts multiple filenames and handles wildcard characters in filenames. Its usage message is: usage: touch [-cv] [-d date] [-t time] filespec... The .ARC header is: PKXARC FAST!
