Try this: Go to the bottom of the screen by pressing return a bunch of times. Type in a full line of text up to the maximum number allowed (127 methinks). Now, home the cursor to the beginning of the line. Now, press a control character. The control character will be displayed as '^A' or whatever you chose, and will replace one of the characters on that line while moving everything else up. Now, do this a bunch more times. When the end of the line previously typed reaches past the second line of text, spaces will start to be printed. And printed. And printed. ad nauseum. Don't ask me why you would want to do this, but it was done. Please email me as I don't normally read this group. -- Edwin (Deepthot) Waterloo co-op student, HCR Corporation Hoogerbeets If you can't stand the cold, get into the kitchen! utai!utcsri!hcr!edwin You say potatoe, and I say "chemically produced // carbohydrate product." // I/owe is costly. \\ // Amiga The msg command: \X/ Enthusiast It's funny until someone gets it in vi.
