We have an IBM AT with an HP Laserjet II hooked up through the serial port. We use the DOS command MODE to configure the serial port. However, even under DOS 3.3, the serial port can apparently only run at most at 9600 baud when using the MODE command. Recently, several communications programs have been mentioned that will allow the serial port to run at 19200 baud for use with direct lines or fast modems. I was wondering if a similar program is available to allow the serial ports to run at 19200 baud when configured for use with serial printers.
