I am doing a design where it would be convenient to use the PC's 14.31 MHz clock instead of providing my own. Has anyone ever seen a machine which did not have this signal on the bus? Is this frequency always the same, plus or minus 1%? I know that the processor clock varies, of course, but the 14.31 MHz shouldn't, I would think. -- I speak for myself, not the company. I think the 14.31818 MHz signal is part of the bus specification, so it shouldn't vary. Mike Berger Department of Statistics Science, Technology, and Society University of Illinois berger@clio.las.uiuc.edu {ihnp4 | convex | pur-ee}!uiucuxc!clio!berger
