I have been experiencing the problem with Microsoft Word 4.0 going crazy when using a mouse. I saw others were experiencing the same problem and decided to call Microsoft. They acknowledged a bug and promised to get a diskette (5.25 or 3.5) to me by early next week. Presuming the diskette arrives I will be happy. Can someone describe the mouse/word-4.0 problem in more detail? I just got 4.0 in February: Conceivably the problem was fixed in all copies shipped after some date. I am using 4.0 with a Mouse Systems mouse imitating a Microsoft mouse, with no problems experienced so far. What worries me after a posting like this is whether I have a copy which was fixed or whether I simply haven't run across the problem and so should try to get the fix.
