I am assuming that you will let us know if it does indeed fix the problem,
and if so, what the version and name of the diskette is so that we too can

Update on Microsoft Word 4.0 and PS/2 with mouse: I have been experiencing problems with Microsoft Word 4.0 and a PS/2 with a PS/2 mouse. Microsoft acknowledged the problems and sent a fix. The fix made things worse so Microsoft Fed Ex'd a new diskette. The diskette arrived promptly, but we did not install it right away since there was work to be done. When the diskette was installed it worked and appears to have fixed the problem. As far as I know, if you call Microsoft and tell them you have a problem with Word 4.0 and a PS/2 mouse they will send you a diskette which fixes the problems.
