[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Gather to resist the MCA bus

bob@imspw6.UUCP (Bob Burch) (07/05/88)

The only historical analogy I know of for IBM's policies vis a
vis the MCA bus involves the reply which Friar Rubruck made to the pope
after returning from Mangu Khan's ordu at Kara-Korum and witnessing
the preparations for Hulagu's invasion of Syria and the levant. The
pope inquired concerning the mongols' intentions, and Friar Rubruck
replied simply "they mean to reduce the entire world to slavery".
