I am interested in collecting tone sequences to produce various sounds through an IBM PC speaker. For example, how do you make a "raspberry" sound, or even just a "click"? How about a "chirp"? How do you make various engine sounds (accelerating sedan or sports car; idling; shutting down; jet engines,....)? The preferred response would be sequences of tone/duration pairs for each sound. But I'd be happy with just about anything. Also, pointers to specific magazine articles and books would be more than welcomed. I'm more than happy to experiment on my own in order to make the more complex sounds. But right now I haven't the foggiest idea where to begin. If I could see someone else's ideas, it would help immensely. Please email me the information. I'll try to post a summary later. Thanks in advance.
