does anyone know of a monochrome display adapter that will work on a micro- channel architecture ps/2? i have to port a software package that uses 2 displays - monochrome text, and color graphics at the same time. ibm (may 1M fleas nest somewhere uncomfortable on whoever came up with this ps/2 grabage :-)) says that the only way to do it is with an 8514a display and an 8514a display adapter card, with the whole thing in high-res mode. this is supposed to allow the monochrome display hooked to the auxilliary display output display something other than what is on the color monitor. the problem with all this is that many of our users don't have, and don't want to invest in an 8514a adapter and display. if i can find a monochrome card, then i can run the graphics off of the inboard vga and the text via the monochrome adapter. i hope. thanks, Mitch Baltuch
