[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Anybody heard of an STB RIO Plus II board??

lane@dalcs.UUCP (John Wright/Dr. Pat Lane) (07/12/88)

This board has 384K RAM (for 256K-640K), a serial port with a 9-pin connector,
a parallel port and a timer. I do not have documentation (:-(), companion
software (like a clock driver), and have never heard of the company, STB(?).
No other clock software I've tried (quite a few) seems to work and it may
be that the clock is disabled by the switchs and jumpers for which I have
no clues as to function. The battery seems OK. I can't recognise any std.
clock chip. The clock is my main frustration but I'd like to contact the
company and get the whole 9 yards. I acquired this delight in a system
bought 3rd hand. the previous owner was kind enough to format the hard
disk for me and in doing, wiped the only copy of the clock driver, etc.
Would appreciate any clues. Send mail pls. Thanks.
