                    announces a conference on

               TELECOMMUNICATIONS DEMAND MODELING
                      An Integrated View

               New Orleans -- October 23-25, 1985

The conference will provide economists, statisticians, marketers,
psychologists and other professionals an opportunity to present
and discuss selected new methodologies relevant to telecommunications.

Alain de Fontenay, in Bellcore network planning, invites authors to
submit papers for the conference. "The conference recognizes that
new and relevant methodologies increasingly require novel approaches
within existing disciplines as well as broader linkages between
disciplines. Theoretical, methodological, and empirical studies
and survey papers are welcome. Interdisciplinary works, especially
empirical studies and reviews, are particularly sought. Academic and
international participation in this conference is encouraged."

Papers will be selected based on abstracts of 500 words. Additional
documentation, including unpublished papers, is welcomed. Abstracts,
papers and inquiries should be received by April 1. Authors will be
notified on submissions by May 15.
