I think there is a difference between the "highness" of Plant's voice and that of Michael Jackson. Plant's voice is only high when he is singing falsetto (which he did quite often) -- his speaking voice is quite "normal", as it is in certain songs in which he does not use his falsetto, such as "Going To California". Jackson's voice, on the other hand, appears to be high at all times, something over which he seems to have no voluntary control. As I understand it, hormone injections of some kind have something to do with the pitch of his voice. As for highness of voice indicating homosexuality, I don't think there is any necessary correlation between the two. I think that homosexuality is more often associatable with effeminacy (although this is not always a good indicator either). I don't think Robert Plant is physically effeminate. I do think Michael Jackson is physically effeminate. (This may have something to do with aforesaid "hormone injections".) Whether or not either is gay cannot be derived from these data, however.
