I have a PS 2/Model 60 with one 40 Meg drive. I would like to add an additional drive. The manual for the PS 2 indicates this is easy, if you have an IBM drive. As far as I know, these are standard MFM drives, but the power and data/control cables don't resemble the standard XT/AT. I know about the kits for the the Model 50, but I have not seen any advertisements for other PS 2 hard drives. Is there something special about PS 2 hard drives or will normal MFM drives work. Do any third party vendors sell hard disk kits (disk + cables + hardware + documentation) for the PS 2/ Model 60? Has anyone installed an "AT" drive in a Model 60? (By AT, I mean a bare MFM drive.) If so, where did you get the cables? Were there nuts and bolts and screws type problems? I will gladly summarize responses to the net, so email if you can. Thanks - Mark (davis@cs.unc.edu or decvax!mcnc!davis)
