A few years ago, someone posted an article describing a fix for hard disk whine. I think it had something to do with applying some sort of oil to a contact on the bottom of the drive. Of course, I didn't have a problem ... then. I do now. Can anyone supply enlightenment? Rob Hausman Bellcore nvuxf!reh2
