I am currently involved in an independent undergraduate project to
assess how use of computers for communication compares with more
traditional communication media.
I currently am looking for volunteers who feel they are "addicted" to
use of computer mediated communication. Volunteers will be asked to
answer a questionnaire, and perhaps participate in an interview.
If you are interested, please complete the following 10 questions,
and mail your answers to BUDD@BU-CS (see paths below).
ALL INFORMATION GATHERED WILL BE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
1) Your age
2) Gender
3) Primary Occupation.
4) To what extent does your job involve working with computers.
5) How long you have been using computers.
6) When and Where you started using computers.
7) Average hours per week "on line".
8) How much time spent involved in computer mediated communication.
9) How often do you check for new messages?
10) An address at which you can be reached.
