[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Thanks !

jmoore@pc.ecn.purdue.edu (James D Moore) (08/17/88)

Thanks to all that responded to my message about not being able
to remove an "empty" directory under MS-DOS.

Many resoponded with the obvious solutions (hidden file, attributes
being wrong, hidden directory or munged FAT), however the problem
was not so obvious but thanks to one person (THANKS !! Ryan Gale)
who pointed out that is could have been a 'subst' that I had used.
As it turnes out I did have a 'subst L: c:\lisp' in my autoexec.bat
file. Once this was removed the file went away.

Again, Thanks......
