[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Shareware and comp.binaries.ibm.pc

jmbj@whuts.UUCP (BITTMAN) (08/16/88)

As the author of a shareware product, is it legal/moral/acceptable
to post to comp.binaries.ibm.pc? I do not wish to start a debate,
"just the facts ma'am."

The product is a Turbo Pascal 4.0 window/menu/picklist/etc. procedure
set and I would release *.tpu with a source interface and also make
the actual source code available (for a nominal charge).

Thanks for the Advice,
I'll post responses (and the code if acceptable!)

I recently posted a request for what is acceptable posting practice for
comp.binaries.ibm.pc. All the responses were from people who wanted to
know the same thing. Could someone please [re]post the general guidelines
for comp.binaries.ibm.pc? Particularly, could you address the issue of
shareware AUTHORS posting their own software?
Thanks in advance!
