In looking at housing options I have come across the term "manufactured housing." I gather this is similar to mobile homes in that they are already finished and come furnished. They differ from mobile homes in that they must adhere to national standards (mobile homes are only subject to state and local standards). The cost of these manufactured homes are much less than the cost of site-built homes, making them very attractive. Has anyone purchased such a home? Are they a good buy?
