Damn, I forgot to say that the problem with the MKS toolkit I described only ocurrs on systems running DOS 2.X . If you're running DOS 3.X you won't have the problem, according to the very pleasant MKS customer support person. Sorry for any misunderstandings resulting from leaving out this detail.
