I am looking for a device driver for a standard QIC-36 controller which runs on an XT clone. I have a controller board from an Archive FasTape package and would like to be able to access the tape drive without going through the backup software. (I would like to be able to use other utilities like tar and cpio) Does anyone know of any commercial, shareware, or PD device drivers that can talk to a supposedly industry standard QIC-36 controller?
