I have an IBM AT with the original IBM EGA card. It has only 64K of memory. I would like to have the full 256K of video memory but do not wish to sacrifice the IBM EGA card (I have a circuit board attached to the feature connector to give me a 132 column mode). I have seen a daughterboard for the EGA at a local computer store but it has only 64K on it and sells for $50. To purchase the additional memory would put the cost over that of one of the new EGA cards. Does anyone know where I might find a cheaper daughterboard for an IBM EGA? With memory? Can the 64K chips on the original IBM EGA card be replaced with 256K chips so I don't need the daughterboard? Does anyone have some used TMS 4416 memory chips for sale? I would like to do this in the least expensive way possible. -- Steve Gegg
